Ordering Appointment Guide

Your family portrait session might be over, but the best part is yet to come!

At WVP, we believe in guiding you through the process of portraits from start to finish. And by “finish” we don’t mean files that sit on your computer forever. We mean TIMELESS PRINTED ARTWORK to enjoy for years to come.

As a busy mom, TRUST ME when I tell you- I get it! Sometimes life gets busy, and as much as we want to sit down and take the time to create an album or order some framed family portraits for our walls, the time just gets away from us.

Let me take ALL the pressure off you! Let me create precious artwork of your family to enjoy right now- with no stress.

The Whole Process:

1| Schedule your ordering session- This part is most likely already done. Wendy will send an email a few days prior to your ordering session with a reminder.

2| Prepare for your ordering session- Read through this guide and discuss product options and collections with your significant other or any other decision makers in the family. Measure your walls so that Wendy can help you design any wall art you might like, and make a list of people you might want to order gifts or gift prints for.

3| Ordering Session Day- Usually these are 1 to 2 weeks after your shoot. This is when you come to my office and view the edited images from your session, choose your favorites, and use your credit towards prints and artwork.

4| Payment- At the ordering session, if you want additional digital files or products beyond what is included with your session, you’ll need to be prepared to pay Wendy with a credit card, debit card, cash or check at that time. If you plan to use a payment plan, please apply for paypal credit before the session. They offer 0% interest for 6 months. WVP also offers payment plans. If you choose a payment plan through us, you must have a credit/ debit card and a backup card on the night of your ordering session.

5| Product Pickup- 3 to 4 weeks after your ordering session, you’ll stop by Wendy’s office to pick up your order.

What to expect during your ordering appointment:

• 1 | View your slideshow- Wendy will create a gorgeous slide show of ALL your images for you to sit back and enjoy. Bring the tissues!

• 2 | Select your included images & spend your credit- Depending on which session option you chose, you will already have a certain amount of digital images and a dollar amount credit to use at your ordering session.

• 3 | Choose and purchase any additional images or artwork- If you want any digital images beyond the number included in your session or if you want to add any framed print or albums to your order, we will go through and chat about what.

• 4 | Payment- If you decide to purchase additional digital images or artwork, payment is due at our ordering appointment. WVP offers 0% interest payment plans that we can set up for you that evening as well.

A few things to keep in mind:

1 | The size of your walls! Take some masking/ painters tape and measure out the size wall art you think you want to purchase. Put the tape up on the wall in a square/ rectangle and see how it looks to you or if you might want a bigger size.

2 | Don’t get overwhelmed! Wendy will guide you through the ENTIRE process and you’ll be able to see samples of each of the products at our ordering session. You’re also welcome to call Wendy if you have any questions.

3 | Do you need any gifts? Make a list of people you might want to give gifts to or create art for. Also, make a list of any specific frame sizes you might need.
