Just a Montana girl in a California world!  Which (Lucky you!) means I get to create awesome memories and images for the people of central California.  I grew up in Helena, Montana with mountains under my feet and in my soul. I married a California boy whose heart is at the beach most of the time.  After 11 years of moving everywhere from Las Vegas to Utah to Montana,  we came here to be closer to his family and start a new adventure with our 4 super fantastic kids.  

My Photography Journey

In 1998 my parents bought me a film SLR camera and I fell in love with photography.  I tried everything from landscapes to architecture, but my heart was always drawn back to portraiture.  I studied History and Art Education in College, and received a BA in Secondary Education.   However, I didn't have the confidence to start my business until 2013.  Since then, I've been passionate about helping people capture moments in time that are priceless and significant.  I love watching a senior come out of their shell during our session and snapping my shutter during that moment of confidence; or capturing a giggle and a kiss between a mom and a little one;  or a perfect, affectionate smile between a couple.  This is why I have put countless hours in to honing my craft, training my eye, and working towards growing my skills and my business.  I truly and honestly LOVE giving you these moments to keep forever.
